COMETH THE HOUR....

COMETH THE MAN.....

Now goes the million dollar question!
If Sachin wasn't there, would have we considered Rahul Dravid as the Best Indian Test Batsmen ever????

It was a demanding day @ Trent Bridge for batters as it required sheer amount of skill, courage and highest level of concentration.   But amidst the thing's stood - "A MAGNIFICENT CENTURY BY A MAGNIFICENT BATSMEN!"

Rahul Sharad Dravid with his 34 test century equals with Sunil Gavaskar. He also became the ONLY PERSON - TO HAVE FACED MORE DELIVERIES THAN ANYONE ELSE IN THE HISTORY OF TEST CRICKET!

CONGRATULATIONS "WALL!"

Trend follows @ TRENT BRIDGE

Out of all the things under the Sun "FASHION" remains constant.... It will never die! and "MEN IN BLUE" as far as game of TEST CRICKET goes are trendsetters!

For the life of me, I haven't understood the reason behind being slow starters... Go anywhere round the world our most prolific batters have always failed to take a grip on test series - RIGHT FROM THE WORD GOES!

England series is no different!

We were outplayed in first test but boy yesterday was again a complete turn around!

For once it might be difficult for England to bounce back in current test but for India

TREND FOLLOWS!!!!

GOOD CHANCE for India to make it ONE-ALL!

Rahul... "Writes on the WALL!"

When entire India was awaiting the magical moment of 100 international hundreds from Sachin, here was a man who quietly reached to his 33rd Test - Century.

In the process he went pass Australian Ricky Ponting to become the SECOND HIGHEST RUN GETTER in Test cricket.

It was his FIRST - CENTURY at LORDS CRICKET GROUND!
And MOST IMPORTANTLY HELPED INDIA TO SAVE FOLLOW -ON!

The man with utmost INTEGRITY has shown time and again his worth and the reason - for why he is regarded as THE WALL!

Thank you RSD.

SENNA - Documentary

Every book, every instinct suggest to be careful with the machines. But, then F1 is for all obsessives... and AYRTON SENNA was its ultimate HERO!
He was naturally gifted who often transcended the speed, gave everything - literally everything every minute when he was on F1 circuit. He carried a playboy image, but BOY, inside the car he was a ruthless competitor who believed had "EVERY RIGHT TO WIN!"
Outside the car Senna was calm, composed spiritual gentlemen who was loved by everyone!

The documentary is directed by Asif Kapadia and written by Manish Pandey.
It depicts the life and death of Brazilian motor-racing champion, it focuses on Senna’s rise in F1 during the 1980s, his rivalry with French driver Alain Prost and his untimely death at Imola which was captured on live television.

After a long time I heard this beautiful quote which eventually made me cry.... Quote from the man himself who was interviewed before that fatal day....

"There is a lot to learn, a lot to do, a lot to see, but I have plenty of time..."

Rest in peace - SENNA!

Second best favorite...

Phoolon Ka Taaron Ka Sabka Kehna Hai
Ek Hazaron Mein Meri Behna Hai
Sari Umar Hame Sang Rehna Hai

Ye Na Jaana Duniya Ne Tu Hai Kyon Udaas
Teri Pyaari Aankhon Mein Pyar Ki Hai Pyaas
Aa Mere Paas Aa Keh Jo Kehna Hai
Ek Hazaron Mein ...

Jabse Meri Aankhon Se Ho Gayi Tu Door
Tabse Sare Jeevan Ke Sapne Hain Choor
Aankhon Mein Neend Na Dil Mein Chaina Hai
Ek Hazaron Mein ...

Dekho Hum Tum Dono Hain Ek Dali Ke Phool
Maein Na Bhoola Tu Kaise Mujhko Gai Bhool
Aa Mere Paas Aa Keh Jo Kehna Hai
Ek Hazaron Mein ...

BOMB-BAY PAYS!

Take a look at this picture... CAREFULLY!

26/11 only attacker - was captured alive by Mumbai police.
13 July was his birthday or 13 September?? - that to our intelligent isn't sure about!

The coward's celebrated on July 13 and the common man from India's capital city had to pay the "RETURN GIFT!"

Now the POLITICIANS would talk about "MUMBAI'S - SPIRIT" and then will leave a Mumbaikar on his own!

Those killed were devotees of Indian deities, devotees of Allah, devotees of Jesus and yet no one was spared!

"PEACE - IS IT REALLY SO DIFFICULT?"

Dear god, not everyone deserves to live, but then killing is a crime!
If you want to finish - off the human existence then India has hundreds of politicians - who don't deserve to see another day.....

Why don't you intervene?

Yet not "INVINCIBLE"

End of Starters....

Beating West Indies in their own backyard was a task during 80's but not anymore!

3rd test was evenly poised and on last day India needed 100 odd runs in 15overs, the target wasn't that difficult yet amidst the match something terribly missed - "KILLER INSTINCT!"

India, instead of going for a victory played out for a draw.

Well, India may be no.1 test playing nation but "GREATNESS WASN'T ACHIEVED" by the approach in which day was ended!

Its end of the starters and now lies the GREAT ENDEAVOR - first in England (July 21 - Lord's first test) and then in December down-under - Australia.

Wishing the team - good fortunes!

The Shawshank Redemption

The movie is about the simple man, who does extraordinary things which helps him to BREAK OUT OF PRISON!

The movie came out almost 2 decades ago. Couple of years back I saw it for the first time, and since then I have been seeing it and finding something new every time!

Andy Dufresne, a hotshot banker is wrongly convicted and is sentenced to two consecutive life terms for the murder of his wife and her lover. He pleads for being innocent but....

Andy's journey in exploring life's possibilities begins at - SHAWSHANK!

At Shawshank prison Andy finds handful of inmates, he helps warden to convert his black money into legitimate one, he helps other guards with tax returns, and finally when least is expected the character crawls to freedom through five hundred yards of shit-smelling dirt.

The wall poster of beautiful RITA HAYWORTH really comes handy for Andy...

By end of the movie, one could hear a simple music and that is "HOPE!" After all hope knows no limits, knows no borders.

Truly uplifting movie.... one should see

Its all about either "get busy living, or get busy dying!"
