Happy New Year, Indian Arm Forces - Thank you!!

Not in wildest of dream anyone would have thought of Jan 2, 2016. India was caught off guard once again but, this time betrayal from the neighbouring county was more painful. 

India had put trust, offered handshake and in return it had got Pathankot. Then came Kashmir, Baramulla and then came hardest slap on nation Uri happened.

Finally, it was Government of India who decided to give it back… and boy, didn’t they pay back in style!! 

Through all thick and thin the nation has gone through in last one year – it’s the Men and Women from Indian Arm Forces who have kept our borders, people safe…

Year will never end without thanking Indian Arm Forces for there enormous efforts. Happy new year!!! - "MAY THE GOD OF WAR BE WITH YOU"

And who can forget the Martyrs!?? It’s your scarifies which makes sure we the people of this beautiful Nation smile, sleep in peace!!! 

Today the Nation is waiting for PM’s address at 7:30 PM but, had it not been for your life sacrifice who knows we wouldn’t have been alive to see the day!!!

Well then happened college, first job and then came ‘Last Christmas...’ 

But, after hearing sad demise of the one who sung this unforgettable track that too on 25^th Dec 2016 I think last Christmas will never be special again!!! 

Will never forget the start, the lyrics, the high pitch voice and saxophone used in this track...

I was all but apprehensive when I saw Dangal and yet, with each shot I was once again mesmerized by what one man has done in one life time!!!

From QSQT to JJWS to Gulam to DCH to RDB to Lagan to TZP to now, Dangal...

He is not just an entertainer... He is beyond entertainment... He is an ART!!!

What struck me... in this particular movie was the not the entertainer who took back seat anyway but, an ART which came to fore!!! 

It’s about for those who think Girls are good for nothing...

It’s about for those to see what girls can do if given everything to excel at highest level... 

It’s about relation between Father and Daughter or dare I say difference between Guru and Father...

It’s about Indian TRI – COLOR and ANTHEM!!! 

It’s not one time watch but time and again watch movie... Dangal is nothing but, a hangover.... 

And about those gorgeous girls... Sharing screen along side AK and leaving your mark says a lot of their performance speaks a lot - Kudos!!!

The first Indian cinema came in 1913 ‘Raja Harishchandra’ who was directed by a Barhmin – Dadasheb Phalke.. It was a silent movie but, was a box office hit at that time...

Since then Indian Cinema has seen numerous directors, producers, writers, singers, stars, actors, actresses and let the truth be told... ‘AUDIENCE’ they all have made box office a hit!!!

Indian cinema has never played with our emotions... but, somewhere just made us realize about our past...

Be it a story, or its direction, or a character, or a particular song, a particular singer, a particular song writer Indian cinema ruled us but, has never fooled us.......   

UNTIL NOW!!! :P

May be, there comes a time where some genius comes along and makes us realize 

"TITLE" too is important!!! ;) 

I have no clue of this Marathi movie’s box office collection which is about to release on Jan 6

But, title has already made many of us thought about; days for some, months for some, years for some or a decade for some gone by... 

What's more; It has made us laugh Big time as well...

Mad is beautiful... England’s nightnair Ka-RUN ;-)

Chennai it is…. Just when Cricket crazy nation was feeling low on Day 3 of 5^th test against Brits in came magic from a rookie.

Sometimes, mad is beautiful and this innings was no different. A day earlier man had witnessed madness, a heartbreak 199-times. But, what followed in less than 20 hours was beautiful…  

Karun Nair a name unknown to many till yesterday got himself in record books for more than one reason… 

He not only became third highest individual scorer for India but, became first Indian and third round the world to score maiden test century followed by a triple ton. 

What’s more in all eight triple hundreds are scored against Brits, but, it was for the first time an Asian cricketer had caused misery… 

Thank you for the fun….

The highlight of KL Rahul century wasn’t just about his determination… But, King Kohli’s celebration… 

That for me showed quality of a leader who was happy for his teammate…  

Having said that, what mattered was 200 not, 199…. 

Not just KL or King Kohli but, entire County got disheartened in the moment… 

I for one wanted him to just play the ball on its merit and go to double figure but, destiny had something else in store…

Be it first run in Maiden test or first hundred in Maiden test or first Maiden double ton… ’THOSE ARE SPECIAL’ 

It wasn't case with him... 

Well, now the Q is…. Is he next great Azar in making?? 

Guy who never made it to double ton. Is KL Rahul following same destiny??   

 

Hope someday KL Rahul cross his highest score… AMEN!!!

Oh.. Media – Let the Modi Bashing Begin!!! :P

Not only I’m thankful to God for getting me into a Chitpavan Bramhin family. I was extremely proud of my Middle – Class upbringing!!! 

Well, then came 8^th of November… Fast forward on 9^th November the roads were empty, there weren’t any rich zooming around, people who fall under different economic strata for once had gone out of senses. 

Everyone was on same level – No rich, no poor!!! 

Thanks to demonetization move which Darling PM Modi rolled out. He had made us Proud. Those were the early days though. 

Repercussions were yet to be seen, and eventually it turned out that only the Middle Class in general and the Poor in specific were at receiving end!!!  

Media reports were flooded with w/men who died while standing in line. Mayhem that had occurred in one’s life. How GDP was about to impact in next Quarter. They even accused Modi of being a dictator.   

But, not once anyone spoke about opposition parties and their MPs or MLAs who were found with loads of cash while in transit. None of the media reported about peace in Kashmir Valley. None of the media spoke about actual cash Central Govt has received since 8^th of November. 

None of the Media Houses or its Anchors who actually hold loads of Debits and Credits cards spoke about ADVANTAGES OF CASHLESS ECONOMY…

Worst none of them showed stories or small vendors who have moved from hard cash to cash less business… 

Well, it’s a thing of past… 

1^st Dec is on its way, people will be paid for their monthly slog who will hit for ATMs and Banks. 

Yes, getting your own money for now will be hard… 

But, hey... 

Just like Bollywood its another psychopath - Indian Media. Who will blame Central… Get ready for it!!

It’s not over till it’s completely over. After all, Cricket is a game of luck as even a last ball can go into the stands. 

Well, Cricket is also a team sport… It’s not an individual sport.

Having said this; There also comes a time where we come across men who defy such statement WHO ALSO TURN OUT TO BE AN INSPIRING FACTOR!! 

King Kohli is one such individual who has come off an age. From being an arrogant, brash young lad to being aggressive but, yet humble in win is winning him hearts all around!!! 

If winning against Aussies is treat to eyes, winning against Brits a treat to Soul!! 

It wasn’t just a win in third test against Brits. But, even after losing a toss and going on to win in less than 4 days is something special!! 

Since, Adelaide test where he first took reins of Indian Captaincy from MSD not once he has looked for a draw…

In process to win he and cause of him India has lost some matches. But, BOY… 

End of the day win matters and in process if you lose so be it.

As one of sport great, late Ayrton Senna said “Being second, is being the first one who lose”

I support Bharat Bandh… Is like saying I support 'Bull-Shit'

What an irony…. 

In a country of 1.25billion + population, people who voted for Chai wala are put on razor edge, while people who voted for Kejriwal, for Mamta, for INC, for Mulayam, for  Mayawati are holding country to ransom with their ‘Bharat Bandh’ slogan… 

Mamata Banerjee is planning for BHARATH BANDH on November 28th and asking for support from other political parties.

This move is ridiculous and shameful in itself .   

Well, if it’s for Demonetization then how can we forget... 

Corruption crusader who wanted to fight corruption once upon a time and ultimate crook of Indian politics Kejriwal? 

How can we forget Singur fiasco in WB, which otherwise could have given number of poor and middle class a living?  

Mulayam's palace, Mayawati's elephants built on corruption?

Last but, not least – How can we forget ultimate betrayal which happened to the country for last 65 odd years? 

And, still these people expect Bharat Bandh, And want our support? 

I support Bharat Bandh… Is like saying I support bull-shit forget not it would be for those BULL-SHITS!!

I for one never had liking for Madam Secretary. But, looking back; here was an Individual who gave everything to reach to the Top of the Pinnacle and yet when it mattered the most she failed not once but, twice!!!

In spite of having everything at her disposal she couldn’t make it to 270 mark this time around...

Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and start all over again!!  Is all good for ears but, not for the one who has spent like 30+ years in World’s most richest and powerful democracy...

As a Brit politician Enoch Powell had then said; All political careers end in failure and so is HBC’s!!

Madam Secretary; Personally, I never liked you for your policies, be it with Middle-East, India or for favoring INC when you had banned NaMo. I didn’t like your money minting Clinton Foundation either....  

Yet, as an Individual when I think back, from heart I feel bad for you but Mind!!? 

Well, you got what you deserved!!!

The White House goes RED!!!

Every Poll before the US election-day suggested it was Clinton who would become the First Lady President of USA. 

They all hated Trump right from the word go… And yet on D – Day it was the most hated man on US soil of 2016 who has become 45^th President of United States of America. 

How will he shape that country? What happens to NATO? How will Russia react? What can Middle East expect? Will India benefit under his term? Are few questions which can be answered at a later day… 

But, what amazed me is the polls itself. Day after day months after months from CNN (Clinton News Network ;) to NYT to Washington post they all suggested land slide victory for Madam Clinton. 

Such one sided favoritism not only misleads voters and viewers it creates some serious trust issues. 

Voting Polls are for the people to know the mood of a particular nation for a particular candidate and not to create preconceived notions!!  

Thank god it’s over though. Now we don’t have to see that little smile of Mrs. Clinton which gives away nothing but, hypocrisy!! 

Congratulations Mike Pence and Mr. President.
