Not only I’m thankful to God for getting
me into a Chitpavan Bramhin family. I was extremely proud
of my Middle – Class upbringing!!!
Well, then came 8th of
November… Fast forward on 9th November the roads were empty, there weren’t
any rich zooming around, people who fall under different economic strata
for once had gone out of senses.
Everyone was on same level – No rich, no
poor!!!
Thanks to demonetization move which
Darling PM Modi rolled out. He had made us Proud. Those were the early days though.
Repercussions
were yet to be seen, and eventually it turned out that only the Middle Class in
general and the Poor in specific were at receiving end!!!
Media reports were flooded with w/men
who died while standing in line. Mayhem that had occurred in one’s life. How
GDP was about to impact in next Quarter. They even accused Modi of being a dictator.
But, not once anyone spoke about opposition
parties and their MPs or MLAs who were found with loads of cash while in
transit. None of the media reported about peace in Kashmir Valley. None of the
media spoke about actual cash Central Govt has received since 8th of
November.
None of the Media Houses or its Anchors who
actually hold loads of Debits and Credits cards spoke about ADVANTAGES OF CASHLESS ECONOMY…
Worst none of them showed stories or small vendors
who have moved from hard cash to cash less business…
Well, it’s a thing of past…
