475 Gone... 25 to go.. Huhaaa... :D

Not once, when I started writing I had thought of 500 number. I wasn’t even sure of topics I was going to take up… Grammar, punctuation, spellings it was all messed up and yet that immense urge to write never died. 

Days went by and so did the months and suddenly after 7years of writing here I am on verge of making it to number 500!!!

Done with 475, 25 more to go. Huhaaa… :D

Writing not only helps one to reach out with thoughts to people across but, it helps one improve a lot many things. It helps one develop skills but, it also makes sure an individual finds solace in otherwise troubled times.

Writing is like a Drug… And I bet one can’t leave without if one gets use to it!!! 

And then came….. Aug 23, 2013 :-))

Wait and wait and wait and wait – and yet "A ray of Hope"

Not for nothing it is said - "Infinite patience often brings immediate results!"

Blessings count, Astrology works, God exists, Persistent effort pays off and Miracles; one believes when it happens!!!

Where have they gone???

Here I came oblivious to what I was looking forward too?

Was utterly bad with words, pathetic with forming sentence/s, topics weren’t even decided and yet writing became my hobby… O yes Blogging / writing was a SOLACE in otherwise betrayal.

It wasn’t about the words; it wasn’t about sentence or sentences but thoughts which manifested through writing….

I found topics of my interests; those were on sports, on sports personalities which I cherish, on politics, on astrology, on general upheaval which I was going through or for the matter of fact which we mortals go through…

And suddenly there was a complete SHUTDOWN!

In spite of a want, I was at bay, loss with words, with thoughts, lost in time…..  ;-)) 

WHERE HAVE THEY GONE???

Or was it / is it I have found more enterprising "KICK" which is keeping me away from the BLOGGER'S URL? :D

COME WHAT MAY........ GOOD THING SELDOM WE FORGET!!!

I JUST PRAY BLOGGING STAYS..... "TILL DEATH DO US APART!!!"

Giving up was easy!

O dear Nicotine, the affection was palpable. The kick was second to none.

After the supper, during the liquor, midnight at three or next to the smoker, the intake was a tranquil.

But nearly after a decade and two of relentless abuse - came a morning – it stayed for a day and then for a week and today is a month!

O dear Nicotine giving up was easy…. to forget the affair is exceedingly difficult ;-))  

Reaching on top is one thing, staying there is a challenge.

As much as I thank god, I thank my own efforts I thank you STAR! :-))

2012 the year will be remembered for some sad and for most horrified things…

We lost some of very fine actors, singers of yesteryears, some finest cricketers called it off. Parliament the theater of absurd kept the promise alive - of screwing the country left right and center.

There were scams, most of the Parliament sessions went in vain.  

Things will move on, people will forget, laws will be amended, some will be made more stringent but amidst the saga one thing which remained constant were your efforts to KEEP THIS COUNTRY INDIA'S BORDERS SAFE AND SECURED THROUGHOUT 2012.   

The smile on our faces is cause of the relentless Sacrifices which you have made!!!

Thank you Indian Army, Navy and Air force

A WEEKEND OR....   

A LETTER OF PROMOTION RECEIVED ON A WEEKEND??

One thing which I realized lately is “Promotion takes time!” At least it linked up with my brand :D

A thing I should have got way before. But as they say “Better late than never!”

Parents were happy, sibblings congratulated me, friends said celebrate the Success:

I’m in no way a cynic….. But over the years after seeing, and intentionally / unintentionally being part of good and ugly side of a coin, I couldn’t resist but think of a song;

YEE DUNIYA AGER MILE BHE JAYEE TO KYAA HAI….  

Having said that, I can’t take away the credit from the efforts, dedication which I have shown at times ;-) encouragement, support which I have received from manager/(s) super manager/(s) and last the company which has given me a face! :-)

Leave the babu's who walk the Parliament but its Indian Army and their courage's soldiers who have helped us through this seemingly never ending ordeal of terrirosm!

Then when I was in courtship she always said "a day will come when Mumbai will be another Shanghai" More often than not I laughed at that idiotic statement!

How in the world the city with so much of disparity, crimes, terror, mayhem would be the most sought after place in the world?

But yesterday when I heard Mahathir's submission about India's political environment where he indirectly pointed to the Indian democracy and its disadvantages I was in trap!

If only India was an autocratic nation

Mumbai could have easily been Shanghai and subsequently Delhi another Beijing!

But sir, I don't want to be in Shanghai or Beijing.

I don't want our army to kill me, my girlfriend, my friends, the Indian when we protest against our own government!



I don't want to see small houses being brought to ground zero by the bulldozers overnight to show the world how clean our city is around the Stadium!
I don't want to see my kids being ruled and ruined for their career by anyone else!
I know today we are a corrupt nation, but I also know someday with likes of honest people around the tides are bound to change.

I am certainly not all for INDIA but,
I don't want to be afraid about whether the Government is reading this blog!
I want to go and sleep in peace!
This is my prayer - "I want FREEDOM!"

Last Blog! One says yes, other says no! Makes us wonder where to go!

Timing is the most important facet, Change is constant but, changes made at an appropriate time can lead the individual towards jubilation, else making a change at an inappropriate time make things miserable for one and at times for others too!

It’s a perfect chance pe dance write-up!

The object clause was not defined when I wrote my first blog... then it went to 10 slowly I found new topic to write on Cricket, Sports, Lyrics, Money, Bikes and Cars, Prayers, Seasons and on "second side of being"

Yeah... we all have a second side to us! It’s not about the child within us but the twins which rests within who are on constant shoot...

one says yes, other says no! Makes us wonder where to go?

Getting back:

Slowly I started writing, knowing I wasn’t avid writer - bad at punctuation, worst in spellings yet, I went on... and in time I would have reached the much awaited digit – 100! Inspite of Google search engine, Google app, Flicker, You tube, Orkut, FB, twitter – blog URL remains my favorite!

The addiction to blogging has been apparent.

Blog definitely helped me to write what I have wished. It helped me to revisit what I had written and tried to be honest, nearer with the then thoughts…. (Maintaining Diary too is a great tool)

Blog also helped me with new words; in flow I learnt lot of new words and meanings! I have another 10/12 topics in mind on which I could have wrote... but in process I have been utilizing (won’t use the word waste because it’s not the case with me :) most of my study time...

Finally I take a call to cease blogging till December 2010!

Most important Me!

Fair Deal

Its time to take stock of the tangible and intangible things which once I, you / we on individual level had wished to achieve!

The world cup – football has not just been a sport for me. It comes once in 4years.

As a kid we all had some dreams –

Common lets be honest, we all had dreams and the truth is we will keep dreaming no matter how much old we would be… as long as the child in us want to achieve more want to see new things we will continue to dream!

A dream of going to reputed college – when we were in school,
A dream of having bike – when we were filling air in bicycle,
A dream of positive academic results – when school genius was getting all accolades,
A dream of earning in Dollars – when word inflation was not even in our dictionary,
A dream of travelling abroad – when we were not even aware of India as whole,
A dream of having NRI Status, when we were not on threshold of having voting rights,
A dream of successful career – when we were going through the horrendous preparation of our first resume
A dream…

You may call it words of a dreamer but trust me check for yourself where you were 4years back, 8 years back and where you’re today! There will be a noticeable change in your fiscal position, materialistic possession, thoughts on living, on relations yet hoping to achieve more on personal, professional, and psychological front will continue!!! Affcourse one needs to be lucky to have luck on his /her side but still attempt to dream set goals is important. The one who dreams also has strength to convert it into real!

Silently I had been doing this for almost 16 years… (Wow 16 years seems like big time, but not for me, I’ll just turn 30 in week’s time ;) First time I thought of where would I be after 4 years was when in 8th stnd back in ‘94 and since then it has given me new hope…

WC finals 2010 brings another hope of kick! The list has been made…. Priorities have been set! It’s just only after 4years stock will be taken and game will be continued!!! :-)

4years for me has been a fair deal! What else can one expect from time?

P.S.
Reality is; dreams can be achieved, trick lies in religious interim check on expected vs actual and take corrective measures everynow and then!

Dear God,

Truth be told:

Sept4 2006 was a dream come true! Couple of days before I stood opposite of buld'g hoping to get in, not only I got opportunity but also got on board.
It was privileged to be part of it.

Time changed and so did the heart, mind – lookout! Finally the day has come - I am feeling very edgy about the decision which I have chosen. This was one of the best thing which happened to me! Had a very lovely and caring team and fortunately(understanding manager too.. ;)I met many nice people on my way, got lots of girl friends (girls who are friends:) compliments - haaa... nearly every day I got from some one girl or other... some said good things some found me too arrogant, with lot of attitude (loved the later one most:) These years also changed my lookout, there were some bad moments... some were impossible, some worst, some extraordinary too! Yet I am sure I couldn’t have moved out, if I was in love with comfort.

Your blessing got me to this point, Embrace me with the love and give me the will to be persistently committed to future endeavours!

Thank you God! Thank you Persistent!
