Irrespective of color, gender, cast or creed, “Fire in
Babylon” is a must watch documentary, even to those who hold no interest in the
sport.
“One people, one nation, one destiny” was the theme of West Indies team who played the sport in 70’s and 80’s.
It starts with West Indies humiliating defeat in Australia and shows how the team then transformed from “calypso” style of Cricket to a fearsome dominating unit.
They had foursome awesome who persistently bowled at 90miles /hour and then they had the Monster in form of Sir Viv Richards who took opponents to all sides of the park.
