The world over the years has seen some
of the most destructive test batsmen who on a given day not only took the wind
out of their opponents but, who made their opponent look a complete non – plus entity!!!
You had Richard, Lara, Miandad, Gilchrist
and then there was a Mad Man named Sehwag who could change the game on its head.
His footwork was always in doubt, but then
the man was supremely blessed with hand – eye coordination and when that clubbed
with fearless attitude what cricketing world witnessed was Destruction at its core best!!!
Outside the 22yard he was humble,
friendly person but with a bat in his hand he looked no less than a Gladiator!

you gave us for a decade and half!!!
You changed the entire perspective of opening
the batting in test cricket. You made test cricket look beautiful right from the word go!!
