Udta Trust!!

Last week must have been Udta ride for makers Udta Punjab. 

From 89 to 13 cuts from Censor Board to Revising Committee to Bombay High Court to finally seeing a green signal to drug – themed Udta Punjab with just 1 cut was a victory short-lived!! 

Just two days before of this controversial film release someone leaked the censored copy online. 

Allegations and counter allegations have been doing the rounds… Some say it was CBFC who leaked the copy. While some suggest it could also have been member of a technical team from sponsor's side – wonder who was on a real high!! 

Egos were shattered and the wounded soul had to get even but, in first place was it all necessary right from 89 cuts?? 

Seeing pornography in state assembly is fine but, showing reality of a Drug addict state is uncalled-for – Excellent!!! 

Forget the constitutional rights of an individual but, leaking a censored copy just to get even is an absolute sabotage of trust!!! 

Maybe, the makers of Udta Punjab can come up with sequel Udta Trust!!! Period!!! :) !!
