The richest cricket governing body already were
fuming over the share cut in revenue which was reduced by ICC.
BCCI as usual tried their best to play a big boss
and threatened to pull out of ICC Championship trophy. But, it was only after intervention
of CoA – appointed by Supreme Court of India the team was
announced.
Irony, that the few men controlling the most
loved sport in India yet again showed more interest in their P&L and Balance
sheet than the love for the sports itself.
Nonetheless, the match is on and first one made
in heaven.
Come June 4 India will take on its arch rival
Pakistan. On June 8it will be Sri Lanka and June 11, against SA.
The first two teams from from each group will enter in Semi
and the winner would play in finals at Lords.
2013 it was Dhoni, will 2017 be Kohli?
The
Game is on and so are the bets. Let the prayers begin!!!
