Sitting in a classroom, my eyes were glued to the book but mind? It was with her…

“Better be safe, than sorry” and on the same note I’d never allowed myself to cross boundaries, was least interested in someone’s private life and yet today I was feeling bad for her?

I was good at confrontation, loved debates, but not once took someone’s fight as my personal one and yet here I was taking up a fight - which didn’t even belonged to me. 

That was a point when I realized how badly screwed up I was!

I wasn’t obsessed but surely protective about her.

Every time I looked at her all I could think was; How will I protect her when she’s feeling lonely? How will I protect her when she’s rejected?
How will I protect her when she thinks her things are under her control but go horribly astray?  
How will I protect her from not being in tears? What would I do to bring back the smile…

 

Somwhere I knew but wasn’t willing to accept the answer; after a while I couldn’t have done much to protect her?

 All I could do was to pray for things to fall in place; for her, for me and hopefully for both of us together!

Every man has a dream. Some reach to top of their career in 40’s, while some reach a little late. But in Politics Career starts only after 60. 
 
Advani was instrumental, played a pivotal role in forming BJP. In Vajpayee’s era he was considered Laxman of the Party.
 

But as far as political career was concerned this Laxman too had a dream. A dream of holding top post in India. 
A dream of becoming India’s Prime Minister.



But writing on the wall came with N Modi’s selection as a Chairman of election committee 2014.
 
What I found so hypocratic about the old man was the statement which he made while quitting the party. He said and I quote “people are here for personal agenda”
 
Well, if he was referring to N. Modi and his ambition then how under the sun can he forget his own ambition?
 
It was Advani who always gave the importance to the term “Captain” and now when BJP opted for a new Captain the old guard not only went on back foot but rebelled  in a manner which not only brought shame to his own party but big disgrace to character which he had built in the minds of people of India.
 
From now on, no matter what he does, at 85 this Laxman will go only Bheeshma’s way..... TO SERVE WHOEVER SITS ON THE THRONE…. 
 

Only Gandhis can claim to be born leaders…. Rest they start from grass root level!

Amidst the pressure from LK Advani, some of BJP senior workers and NDA leaders - BJP finally came up with compromising formula…

Due to pressure they surely have procrastinated to name BJP prime ministerial candidate for 2014, but have given enough hints my naming Narendra Bhai Damodardas Modi, the chairman of election committee 2014.

There are too many questions which one encounter….

Has BJP finally decided to give its reins in the hands of new leader/(s)?

Is it the end of Vajpayee-Advani era?

If Advani was Laxaman to Ram – Vajpayee, then who will get into Laxaman shoes for the new Ram in the name of Modi?

In case if BJP – NDA lead government wins, will NDA allow Modi to become Prime minister?

But the most important

What if Modi doesn’t create a magic which he is now expected to create?

Time they say; is an answer! Whatever the outcome Modi’s rise to leadership started from grass root level and barring 2002 he has done exemplary work for State of Gujarat.

Not that I know much about politics, but it’s better to vote for a person who promises to bring economic change than dwell on polarization of politics for votes.

After all Socrates rightly had said:

“A group of Donkeys lead by Lion can defeat a group of Lions lead by a Donkey”

They say; never rule out a man and certainly not if he happens to be a high flying politician.

He was imprisoned, sentenced to jail, was forced to go into exile.

And, yet on Wednesday nearly after 14 years it was Nawaz Sharif who was sworn in not only as 27 Prime Minister of Pakistan but also the first ever Pakistani politician to PM of Pakistan for the third time.

In one life time very few politicans must have travelled the path of what Mr. Sharif has went though. 

What amazed me was this pic of President Zardari who administered the oath of PM's office to Nawaz Sharif.

Punch into history and it was Zardari who had then enforced Governor rule and forced Sharif to go through the ordeal.

In politics you won’t have permanent friends… you won’t have foes for life either.

After several failed attempts it was on May 29, 1953 - two men Tenzing Norgay and Edmund Hillary climbed Mount Everest from South East Ridge.

Today, is a 60 anniversary and what a way it was for these men to celebrate 60 year of that unprecedented achievement…

5th May it was Valery Rozov from Russia who jumped from top of the word setting a new world record for Base Jump.

23rd May it was Yuichiro Miura from Japan who set the record of climbing the Mountain at age 80.

Chennai wins the cap, Mumbai the cup!!!

They were hot favorites.  They knew what it takes to win in finals. The batting, fielding, bowling were second to none. 

With 149 to chase not many would had given MI the chance. But, perhaps if only Chennai weren’t troubled by the ongoing controversies who knows, they could have won the final for third time.

What matters is a result and after a long wait its Mumbai who get to hold IPL 2013 Cup!
