Not only had they won three Major tournaments of the year… 

But, Carlos Brathwaite becomes the first man to finish WC Final with 4 sixes… 

What’s more Windies is the first team to score 24 runs in final over of WC t-20 finals and chase down the highest total in the finals of WC t-20 as well!!! 

In Men’s Final – till the 19^th over it was all England but, then the black man had something else on his mind… 

Winides needed 19 runs from 6 deliveries well; it just took them 4 deliveries, 4 minutes and 14 seconds to reach at the top of the 

t-20 pinnacle!! 

Women from Caribbean took on Australia… and Men decimated Brits dream… 

In the context of World Cup History 3^rd April would be, should be remembered as “Black on Blonds”

Brits – the ultimate suckers, mother of all hypocrites are in their second Finals of ICC event on Indian soil. 

In 1987 it was Australians who took Brits dream to Ashes now it’s either India or West Indies!!! 

If India wins 120 billion plus people will take a flight to Calcutta. 

But, even if India loses in tomorrow’s 2^nd ICC t-20 WC Semis, West Indies population will go up by 120 billion plus… 

After all we share the same History!!! 

I for one will pray for India. 

But, tomorrow’s win is now just a consolation… 

The real war at hand is on April, 3^rd 2016

If his knock against arch rival Pakistan was brilliant, then today’s knock against Australia in must win situation was jaw dropping experience… 

He was in complete control, feared no bowler, didn’t show any sign of weakness, there wasn’t a window of opportunity offered, once he was in HE WAS IN – Virat Kohli it was and just at 27 on his way of becoming a "SACROSANCT!!!" 

It were two of the best Indian batsmen – incredible run chaser and master finisher who  took the wind out of Australian sail... 

In-away it was a revenge taken for a loss of Quarter Final 2015. 

If seeing Pakistan lose gives an emotional high then, seeing Aussie lose has always been a treat to soul!!

Now, for Mumbai affair, Good luck team India!!! 

Win 3......... Win the "WORLD CUP!!!"

If at all Team India had reached Semifinals of WC 2016 without any drama it wouldn’t have been called Team India!!! ;-)

Though the group 2 was considered ‘Group of  Death’ Nonetheless, India had all the chance of reaching WC Semifinals without any hiccups…. But, then you are talking about India, I mean - Team India!

They lost first match on turning wicket against NZ and since then it has been ‘Now or Never!!!’ 

Almost 9 years back India won its inaugural t-20 WC in South Africa under the then new captain MSD. 

In 2011 they won 50-overs WC in India again under the captaincy of well seasoned MSD… 

Can MSD, team India help the Nation to rejoice a tag of WORLD CHAMPIONS one more time in t-20 2016!!!?? 

Well, for tomorrow, 

 Bat first put 183+ on-board and get into Semis!!! 

Going forward win another 2 and……… WIN THE WORLD CUP!!! – Amen!!!

A tale of mighty heights. A tale hard to fathom!!!

It was on a Sunny day in Birmingham, England where World Cup semifinal took place between Australia and South Africa in the year 1999

It was the last over where Africans needed just 9 runs to win. 

The first two balls went racing towards boundary and just when everyone thought Africans had entered in finals, they committed to a horrible run which turned into a run-out. The matched ended in draw and Africans were out of WC. 

I’m sure for many fanatic cricket followers it still remains a tale which is hard to fathom!!!

Well, after seeing the scenes unfold yesterday at Chinnaswamy Stadium between India and Bangladesh one could still not believe how in the World Bangladesh lost the match when they just needed 2 runs in 3 balls. 

And if not for those two wrong shots the image of certain last run out reminded me of 1999 WC Semifinal. 

Not for nothing in Cricket do they say “It’s not over till it’s completely over!!” 

But a new question lingering on my mind - 
Is Bangladesh subcontinents South Africa? 
Are they new Chockers of World Cup setting? 
Can India script what Aussies scripted in 1999?

Bad luck Bangladesh.
