Let the bouncers be bowled – But with same VENOM!!!

4 test match series begins today in Adelaide. 

It had to be rescheduled due to untimely death of one of the most promising Australian cricketer Phillip Hughes.

Lot has been aired, written since then about this guy and Cricket in general…

More than a bowler many are blaming Bouncer which is a classic weapon to unsettle batsman.

Some pundits of the game have been saying – Let the bouncers be banned…

Well, the all time great – the fastest driver in world during 90’s Ayrton Senna lost his life on F1 grid and yet drivers today gun down each other throat for victory.

If sport over the past has seen so many tragedies then why should only Bouncers be banned??? 

It was a freakish accident… Neither this guy who bowled the bouncer or the bouncers itself should be banned.  

Let the bouncers be bowled – Hail the spirit of a Bouncer….

Without a fear or favour, affection or ill-will!!

It wasn’t just another tournament. It was a World Cup 2011 and India had some of really great players who on a given day could have turned the match on its head!!!

Shewag, the mad man; created threat in opposition right from the word go!

Gambhir, a warrior; certainly, batted with certain degree of calmness right till the end!

Yuvraj, the prince; was backbone of middle order and eventually was awarded with Man of the Series!

Harbhajan, an off - spinner; was capable of sending some of the finest batsmen on spin!

Zaheer, then a spearhead of Indian attack was lethal! 

But it was 2011. 4 years since then and things certainly seems to have changed for good for Indian Cricket.

5 men selection panel of BCCI did not only have left these 5 men out from 15member squad for Word Cup 2015, but omitted them from preliminary 30 member squad.  

The writing is on the wall.

 Selection is done without a fear or favour, affection or ill-will. 

At prima - facie, BCCI wants to have fresh blood going in for WC 2015. 

Hope the fresh blood delivers and not just comes back - Bleeding!!! 

A Hughes Loss… But thoughts are also with Sean Abbott - (Dont blame yourself)

Nothing can give that adrenaline rush than that chase one carries for a victory.

But sometimes, the quest for that adrenaline rush can turn into a real nightmare.

Phillip Hughes at 25 lost his life while doing the thing which he loved the most – batting! 

But, caught on the wrong side is Sean Abbott…

At 22, this Young fast bowler appears to have a lot of cricket ahead of him but, will he ever recover from this freakish accident – time will tell… 

RIP Phillip Hughes!!

Wish you a real speedy recovery Sean Abbott! 

It wasn't your fault... it was a freakish accident - seen missed and hit! 

Don't blame your self!!!

Some of the finest cricketers who represented India, who played game of cricket in true spirit, the likes of Gavaskars, Shastris, Tendulkars, Gangulys, Dravids even those couldn’t slam cricket administration!!!

The President of BCCI N. Srinivasan apparently was so brazen in his approach till now, was finally asked by the honorable Supreme Court to address “Conflict of Interest” who also heads IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings. SC not only took "bull by the horn" but has asked the BCCI to take action against all the names mentioned in Mudgal Report.

Will the heads roll? Will the tide change? Time will tell…

But with SC at its supreme best not even BCCI – the political party of its kind ;-) can do much to save its Supremo.
