Some guys come with all the luck!!!! :-))

After several failed attempts it was on May 29, 1953 - two men Tenzing Norgay and Edmund Hillary climbed Mount Everest from South East Ridge.

Today, is a 60 anniversary and what a way it was for these men to celebrate 60 year of that unprecedented achievement…

5th May it was Valery Rozov from Russia who jumped from top of the word setting a new world record for Base Jump.

23rd May it was Yuichiro Miura from Japan who set the record of climbing the Mountain at age 80.

Surely some guys come with all the luck!!!!  :-))

Chennai wins the cap, Mumbai the cup!!!

They were hot favorites.  They knew what it takes to win in finals. The batting, fielding, bowling were second to none.

With 149 to chase not many would had given MI the chance. But, perhaps if only Chennai weren’t troubled by the ongoing controversies who knows, they could have won the final for third time.

What matters is a result and after a long wait its Mumbai who get to hold IPL 2013 Cup!

Congratulations Mumbai,
Commiseration Chennai.

In today’s balance sheet – IPL Final is just a FOOT NOTE!

26th May 2013: supposed to be IPL final and instead the focus is on the controversies; be it spot fixing, betting, arrests and many more.

IPL was a monster which was created by BCCI.

It all started with players being involved in spot fixing but the real blow on the face came with owners involvement – they say, it’s just a tip of iceberg…  if this is so ugly, then dare you imagine the reality.

Cricket in India is considered as religion and if spot fixing by the players was outright betrayal then with owners, celebrities and top authorities involvement in fixing / betting is nothing but a crime against religion!

The ultimate question which one encounters more often than not is back on the door step – What is in it for me?

Not once the sponsors, organizers, the who’s who of Indian Cricket would have thought in wildest of their dreams that in Cricket crazy Nation Cricket itself would take a hard hitting!

It’s time to clean up the sport once and for all, and if not now then God save Indian Cricket!

ACTUS NON FACIT REUM NISI MENS SIT REA.

Credibility can be restored. But, what about the betrayal?

IPL – is a Money making institution. Respective franchise owners, players, broadcaster, media, advertising agencies, five star / seven stars hotels, ground staff each one involved directly with the sport was walking with a smile until once again the spot fixing saga shocked the biggest beneficiaries – Fans across who have loved the Game of Cricket to the core.

Billions were betrayed yet again for few lakh of Rupees…

Two of them were promising new comers, one was a member of world cup winning squad. All three however, had one thing in common

They were old enough to know right from the wrong!

They were young enough to have lot of cricket left in them!

And yet, the got hooked to the biggest evil of all – Money!

The law will take its course. Lawyers of those accused will thrive on biggest wepon “Innocent until proven guilty”

But after going through number of evidences which Delhi police have presented so far, one can’t help but think… of Mens Rea - “ACTUS NON FACIT REUM NISI MENS SIT REA”

THERE WAS A MIND AT FAULT BEFORE THERE WAS A CRIME!

The mind for one knows –

The game which has shown Sreesants have also shown the Dravids… but heart will it overcome the betrayal?

Will he be Sharif?

Relation with Ex for one could be neutral but ever since partition every effort to establish good ties with Pakistan have always gone in Vain…. (Mostly from there side)

The polls in Pakistan said it was historic election for the People of Pakistan as nation went out to elect its new Prime Minster.

The top contenders running for the post were Imarn Khan’s Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaaf, Yousaf Raza Gillani’s Pakistan People Party and Nawaz Sharif’s Pakistan Muslim League (N)

Well the polls said it is Nawaz Sharif who have won and all set for third time as PM.

On number of occasion through the interviews prior to election Mr. Sharif said he’d like to see good relationship building with two countries.

More of trades and less of terrorism..

Well going by the History…. One would say there’s less of hope but, hey who knows the Man would just stand by his Name.

Congratulations Nawaz Sharif, may you bring peace, harmony not just in your country but India as well.

Faceless in life, remembered in death!

Who were these Men?

Till couple of days back men, women, boys, girls, black, white, Hindus of the world, Muslims of the world were unaware of such entities and suddenly death got them the status.

Media as usual took it to a different level, the college kids and– Human right organizations condemned the manner in which these Men were killed.

And finally the biggest hypocrites the Government of respective countries – who could have got these Men back alive, got them back in absolute sleep!!

Where was the Government, the Human Right Organizations when families of these convicts were running from pillar to post begging for their safety?

As many as 1,185 Indians are still serving a lengthy term in prisons across Pakistan. Many of whom are innocent fishermen /sailors.

Who will ensure their safety?

Will government evertake any cognizance or is revenge, the candle light protests only an answer!

May their souls rest in peace!
