Like a Diamond in the ring!!

Ponting; a rare product who wasn’t just immensely gifted with hand – eye coordination but was a fierce competitor who had single handedly won matches after matches for Australia. 

He was ruthless, arrogance was written all over his face and boy when it came to batting who can ever forget World Cup final of 2003 – where he slaughtered Indian bowlers to pieces. 

Some people just know one thing WINNING AT ALL COST!! And Ponting was right there sitting on the top of the tree… 

This was Ponting of yesteryear's!!! 

But, then came year 2015 – where he took on the job of coaching MI for the first time. 

And what a turn around it has been for MI. 

In his playing days he backed himself with every shot he played, believed he could win a game from the jaws of defeat and the very same attitude I guess has been rubbed off on to the players!!!  

As much as I felt sad for CSK loss I felt amazed for a Man whom once we loved to hate!!! 

The STOCK OF PONTING AS A COACH will surely rise from here on!!! 

No two ways about it!!

The color red suits the team right from the word go…. Aggression is one thing written all over their face. 

You have devastating Gayle at the top who can send shivers down the spine. You have multi talented Kohli whose hunger for win in any situation is all apparent, then you have Dilshan whose shot improvisation has mesmerized fans all across and a very very special – ABD. 

These men have been part of the franchise for couple of years and yet one wonders what is it about elimination round that the world class men of their stature just get chock when it comes to entering Finals!!??? 

In spite of some extra ordinary performance throughout various seasons of an IPL not once they have managed to enter the finals of IPL leave alone winning an IPL. 

They just remind me of South Africans!!! 

Guess what South Africans are for the World Cup, RCB is for an IPL!!!

The case which started in 2002 hopefully finally has come to an end in 2015!!! 

13 years it took for India’s judicial system to bring down curtains on a Man just because he belonged to a bollywood fraternity!!! 

With time people become more matured, they say grey hairs are not just the proof of aging but a sign of one’s wisdom!!! 

One can argue for his life about good things Mr. Khan did since then but, what about the crime of past?? 

And that wasn't just the damage done without a legal injury…. 

With a country of 1billion+ population there are bound to be mixed reactions!!! 

5 years of imprisonment may be less but the judgment will only help strengthen the belief of common men and women in Judiciary!!! 

Let him face the music…. 

Who knows the jerks of bollywood may come up with a new flick in 2020

Fury - It defuses the notion of "Good War"

For those who are fascinated by the stories of world-war II “Furry” represents a classic insight which defuses the notion of the "Good War" 

It is all about violence, tremendous bloodshed and unapologetic presentation of the ugly truth of combat!!! But, more importantly it throws a light on “WINNING WAR” AT ALL COST!! 

The first quarter of a story is about this young man who refuses to be part of killing enemies who finally comes of age.

But the later part it’s all about Sergeant Don played by Brad Pitt along with his four men crew who make a final push towards Berlin in their "tank" in all adverse conditions. 

Their heroic response when they are outnumbered five against three hundred on enemy lines is worth an applaud!!! 

And then those unforgettable one liners..... Boy!!!
