These are the champs - best athletes who have shown the class time and again.

At the outset of today's final (Australian Open) I was hoping Nadal to lose but just after 5hrs 53minutes I for one seriously felt sorry for this Spanish lad. He literally gave everything, came from behind to win fourth set but, in the end unfortunately we had only one Grand-Slam winner!

This was the longest Grand Slam singles final in the history of professional tennis, subsequently Nadal also became the first man in the Open Era to drop three straight major finals!

Sport... well its the best thing under the sun, make no mistake though it is EQUALLY CRUEL!

After Melbourne I for one certainly thought it could be one - off loss, well now it seems to be EIGHT-OFF loss. Indian is on verge of being whitewash... First it was England 4-0 now in Australia 4-0.

Boy it couldn't have been worst for the team, their die-hard fans, and for FAMOUS 3 - Dravid, Tendulkar and Lakshaman who will be seen together tomorrow - for one last time on foreign soil. (India's next overseas test is after 2years)

It was an expected defeat, but who cares?

India in past have seen the likes of Pele, Diego Maradona, Lionel Messi but seeing the entire team of German giants Bayern Munich with likes of Thomas Mueller, Phillip Lahm and my favorite Bastian Schweinsteiger on playing field for 90 minutes and that too on Indian soil must have been a proud moment for die hard Indian football fans!

Another Dark Day

Before this test @ Sydney, India lost 5 consecutive test matches on foreign soil. Four in England, One Down-Under.. Now if our batting fails to click in second - innings, it could well be sixth in a row.

Before start of the series Pundits of the game said and I quote "Its India's best chance" (To win a series in Australia for the first time since 1948-49)
