87 to go....

13 Test matches against 4 different countries is what India played in last one year.
And yet, the most awaited series of all has come down to wire.

A lot was to be played for and every one had a point to prove.

The authority of visiting team on Indian soil was always in doubt and yet at Pune, in less than three days of first test, the host were in shambles. More than shame it was a shocker, an eye opener.

Then came Bengaluru, and “brain – fade” saga took center stage than India win.

Series was one – all, momentum had shifted on India’s side but, had it not been for the resilience shown from Aussie middle order batsmen Ranchi could have sealed the deal in India’s favor.

Without Kohli India’s chance of winning a series looked doubtful but, maiden test for left arm spinner Yadav in one of the most picturesque venue Dharamshala proved blessing in disguise for the hosts, as they wrapped Aussies first innings at just 300 runs and later went on to take a minuscule lead.

It was all about day 3 of 4 test and what one witnessed just after the fall of inform Aussie captain was the team which went down like ninepins in a matter of time.

The target set was of 106 out of which 19 runs are in kitty already. Can host make remaining 87 runs without making too many blunders and end this grand season with a win.

The heart says yes but, mind knows the reality of the game. It’s not over till it’s completely over.

Fingers crossed for India win!!!

Winner takes it all....

The Road to Delhi goes through UP.... How true is that??

Out of 545 Lok Sabha seats alone UP comes with 80seats.
It was back in 2014 General Elections BJP had won 71 seats alone from UP which not only helped them cross 272 mark but took them beyond 285.

Well, the opposition and the media marked it as Modi wave.

Since then BJP won couple of state assembly elections be it up North to North East to Down south and yet when they lost Bihar and Delhi assembly elections opposition and media considered it as the end of Modi magic.

UP State Assembly election in a way was the ultimate acid test for Modi and his Government.

Not only the result would have given them a sigh of relief but winning in the Hindi Heartland would have meant time to go for an absolute kill and prepare for winning 2019 General Elections.

UP a state blessed with so many resources and yet have remained backward in terms of development since India's Independence itself shows the inability of leaders they voted in power.

But, seems like all has changed...

Is BJP win in UP a beginning of new era for UP in specific and India at large? Time will tell...

All, Mr. Prime Minister and BJP would need to focus for UP is support for farmers, jobs for youth,  time bound roads, electricity and super efficient law and order.

Who knows with just PM's intention to uplift the poor if people of UP can vote for BJP in General Elections with actual delivery of development at UP state level they can bring Modi back at Central.

Forget not alone UP comes up with 80seats in Lok Sabha.

As much as we consider it as PM's victory we should be thanking People of UP.

For once there weren't any Hindus or Muslims who voted for members of their own community. But, voted for development!!!

And who can forget the contribution of Mr. President Amit Shah. He lives, drinks, eats Elections!!!

To the opposition and Good for Nothing Gandhi who would now blame EVMs  it's - WINNER TAKES IT ALL, LOSERS STANDS SMALL!!

Congratulations BJP. Let the game begin!!

25years back… "A HERO WAS BORN!!!"

Sport inspires us!! Be it Football, tennis, table-tennis, badminton, swimming.

These are few of the sports which are attracting Indian kids like never before. This is good thing for Indian Sporting Eco system. Nonetheless, it is one sport in Indian context which has ruled the lives of people across all generations is none other than Cricket.

Be it 7 / 8 year old kids or the ones playing galli cricket, club cricket, under19, under21 they all dreamt of sending cricketing delivers out of the stand, while some were eager to run in fast and bowl at a lightning speed.

But, none of them ever thought of fielding until March, 8, 1992.

Yes, it was 25 years back a Hero was born. Who took fielding to a different level all together.

I was just 12, when I saw a man flying midair to claim a run-out.

Well, he not only got Inzamam (Pakistan batter) run-out but, went onto become a fielding legend.

Since then it was an astonishing piece of athleticism which he carried on the field.

He was a HERO of our generation who made fielding look like a poetry in motion.

Every guy since the day celebrated SRT, Lara, Ponting and many greats but, deep down every kid someday wanted to fly like Rhodes.

Thank you Jonty for helping us realize joy of diving!!!
