Failed to see the forest for the trees....

Euphoria of hundredth international hundred is over.... and mind is back with a thing which it does the best! -

ANALYSIS!

Why to always think / rely on the outcome of the result which is beyond are controls?

IF I HAVE TO RELATE TO CRICKET...
First it was Australia (Feb 2012) and now in Bangladesh India's fate depended on the matches which they weren't part off.

We could have easily been in Final of Asia cup had we not lost the match against the Bangladesh. Sure in theory, Indian bowlers could have defended the score of 289 but,

Dear Mr.Tendulkar,

Don't get me wrong;
100 international centuries is no small feat by any stretch of imagination, but what is less befitting is the manner in which the landmark was reached...

16 March 2012: You became the first and probably the last person to score hundredth international hundred.

You reached Half-century in 63 balls but it took another 75 balls to reach the landmark.
From 80 to 100 i.e. for last 20 runs you took 36 deliveries.

Another point to ponder: In the same match you lasted for 147 deliveries and made 114. But against an excellent South African bowling attack when you scored double hundred you took same amount of deliveries.

May be,
if only had you not been single-mindedly determined to get to that landmark you could have scored at faster rate.

Well, the whole of India is partner in-crime, the nation wanted you to score this hundredth ton but in the HINDSIGHT ONE CAN ONLY SAY INDIA LOST THE PLACE IN FINAL FOR THE SAKE OF A CENTURY...

Sure, there are few more years for you in test but as far as ODI's are concerned,

Isn't the right time to exit when the question being asked is 'WHY' AND 'WHY NOT'?
