Do we realy notice the efforts from the Umpires who play equally crucial role in and off the field? Actually No!
But here was one such Umpire who did incredible job on 22yards walked into sunset last evening.
Simon Taufel an Austalian born was one of my favorite such Umpire. His presence
on the field brought calmness to the game. Most of the decisions which he took
were spot on.
He had also won the ICC Umpire of the Year award for five successive years from 2004 to 2008. An achievement which speaks for itself.
Man with no controversies whatsoever was a great asset to this game of cricket.
