His contribution to India's
independence is immense but, then we had hundreds of thousand men and women who
sacrificed their families, their lives...
And yet – He was honoured
with the ultimate title “Father of the Nation”
But, Mahatma?
Now you cannot change the
course of our History. Neither do we have time to appeal conscience of politicians
who put him in frame but fail to walk his talk!
But, one can at least think
of men who made Gandhi a Mahatma.
They say behind every
successful man there is a woman or two!
But, for Gandhi – there were two "CHITPAVAN BRAMHINS"
Gopal Krishna Gokhale –
His Guru / Mentor who
taught him the importance of “Ahimsa, Truth, Self sacrifice, Fasting, Service
to the nation” it took him to decisive
heights and then it was
Nathuram Vinayak Godse
The bullet left from his
pistol triggered Gandhi’s status to Mahatma..
