No matter what Tendulkar did in his heydays he always had some critics. Even in his 200th test or the last ODI century which he scored some of them thought man played for records.
I for one was never a die-hard fan of SRT, leave alone being a fanatic follower. Nonetheless his contribution to Indian cricket and way he changed the mood of the Nation was unparalleled.
Once when the great Aussie batsman Ponting was scoring big and runs for little master had dried up in ODIs whole of India was in a state of shock – what if Ponting takes over SRT? Well, the case was not to be.
TILL YESTERDAY....
Here we have a rock star who sets pitch on fire with his batting
display.
In mere 200 ODIs the man has scored 31 centuries overtaking Pointing
and just 19 behind the master.
Only a die-hard, fanatic follower of SRT would
wish otherwise but for the rest it’s now Mumbai Vs Delhi. ;-))
